We broke ground at Claxton Elementary School in Greensboro, NC in August. The new school will be constructed on the existing site. Upon completion of the new school, Claxton Elementary will accommodate 700 students and will be a traditional elementary school. The project goal is to bring innovative design and challenge the traditional classroom makeup through design that leads to inquiry-based learning. The work includes demolition of the existing structure and site, and building construction. The new facility will have outdoor play and learning spaces, and a unique second floor outdoor learning patio. Completion is scheduled for February 2024.
